So when Anushka dressed up in her bridal fineries that boasted of a stunning lehenga and scintillating jewellery, the flashy engagement ring could not be missed. It distinctly twinkled on her finger while she was busy performing the rituals of the wedding day. Especially during the jaimala ceremony, it shone like a star.  

For the uninitiated, this magnificent piece is approximately worth Rs. 1 crore and was designed by a top-notch Australian jewellery designer. It is also worth a mention that Virat Kohli took over three months to finalise it.

Soon after the ring ceremony, the couple officially announced about their big day through a tweet that read: “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

Here's to the groom with the bride so fair and here's to the bride with groom so rare! Heartiest congratulations to both.
